Our name stems from the art of astrology and signs of the Zodiac.  I was born as a Gemini under the June sky. The sign of Gemini is represented by the twins, Castor and Pollux.

As Greek and Roman mythology tells, "Castor and Pollux, were twin brothers, together known as the Dioscuri or Dioskouroi. Their mother was Leda, but were born to different fathers; Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, while Pollux was the divine son of Zeus, who seduced Leda in the guise of a swan." -Wiki

I felt a sense of self behind the sign and story, soon adapting it to my DJ alias and lighting company. I know my time is limited here, However, my work, music, and story will live on past my days.

 

My mortality drew me to Castor as a representation as myself. While my work can live on forever similar to the immortality of Pollux.

And so it was, so shall be. My DJ alias became Cass Wasacz (Castor) and Pollux was altered to our current name, ProLux Entertainment.

P.S. Funny side note: I had changed Pollux to ProLux to signify professionalism in our work. Yet soon, my father was to inform me that "Lux" was a term to define luminescence in light. The universe has an incredible way of working
